I believe that change and growth happen within a safe and secure relationship. Oftentimes our symptoms serve a deeper purpose and I will help you explore that purpose. I provide a collaborative and affirming space where we can explore your experiences curiously and compassionately and sometimes with humor!
I am passionate about working with adult clients with dysfunctional families, childhood trauma, and relationship issues. My specializations include trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, self-harm, identity, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ folks including coming out “late in life”, religious harm, autoimmune disorders, and relational distress.
“Healing from trauma is not about erasing the past; it is about reclaiming the present”
Individual Psychotherapy
Toys are like the child's words, and play is the child's language. — Garry L. Landreth, Play Therapy: The Art of the Relationship
I work with children ages 3 and up who are experiencing anxiety, PTSD/trauma, behavioral challenges, ADHD, grief and loss, family transitions such as divorce, emotional regulation difficulties, social challenges, and low self-esteem.
Play Therapy provides a developmentally appropriate way for children to process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation and resiliency skills, and strengthen self-confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Whether it’s sand, art, toys, games, or sensory based toys, there are a variety of different play tools your child can use in my office.
I am trained in variety of play therapy modalities including Theraplay- an attachment based play therapy modality with caregivers and children.
Child Therapy
Instead of relying solely on the latest parenting book, social media advice, or outside opinions, I help caregivers build confidence by reconnecting with their own values, strengths, and intuition. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for parents to process difficult emotions, triggers, and burnout. In addition, I help caregivers develop practical skills for intentional communication and connection.
I specialize in working with parents around Attachment related concerns, parenting a neurodivergent child and/or while experiencing neurodivergence, grief, parenting a child with trauma and/or family trauma, divorce and co-parenting, family transitions, and burn-out.
I have experience working with a variety of family configurations including two parent households, single parents, foster/adoptive parents, LGBTQ+ parents, blended families, co-parents, and multigenerational families.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
We don't heal by pushing harder; we heal at the pace our nervous system can trust.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that uses eye movements or bilateral stimulation to reduce the overwhelming vividness of the way trauma replays in our minds and bodies. Eye movements help our brains reprocess painful memories and distressing bodily sensations so they become less emotionally overwhelming
I am EMDR trained and work with both adults and children depending on client goals and readiness.
Your Brain has the Natural Ability to Heal itself. Let’s tap into that.
